Terms of use

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Provisional document: the publisher’s details (company name, address, VAT, company number) have not been filled in yet. Complete them in src/lib/legal/company.ts before going live.

These terms govern the use of the WaaS Foundry platform, published by [À COMPLÉTER : dénomination sociale - ex. WaaS Foundry SRL]. By creating an account or a website, you accept them.

1. The service

WaaS Foundry lets a shopkeeper, freelancer or small business create, edit, publish and host a website. Texts, layout and translations are produced with the help of artificial intelligence; you stay in control of the result.

Previewing your website is free. Publishing, hosting and related options are offered under a paid subscription, governed by the Terms of sale.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid, reachable e-mail address. You are responsible for keeping your access private (sign-in link or Google account) and for any activity carried out from your account.

The service is intended for adults and professionals. You may not create several accounts in order to get around the free limits.

3. Your content and your rights

You remain the owner of your texts, photos, logos and other content (“Your content”). You grant us a non-exclusive licence, for the duration of your account, to host it, adapt it technically (resizing, translation, layout) and display it on your website.

You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to Your content (in particular photos and logos) and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights. Photos imported from a Google listing or a website must only be kept if you own the rights to them.

Texts generated by the AI from your information are assigned to you for use on your website. We cannot, however, guarantee that they are unique.

4. Use of artificial intelligence

AI-generated content may contain mistakes or approximations. We instruct the AI never to invent prices, reviews, figures or awards, but you must proofread your website before publishing it and you remain responsible for what it says (opening hours, prices, claims, mandatory notices).

The information you enter for generation (name, activity, description, imported reviews) is sent to our AI provider only to produce your content. It is not used to train its models.

5. Prohibited content and uses

You may not publish content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, pornographic, that infringes privacy or intellectual property rights, or that facilitates fraud (phishing, identity theft, sale of prohibited goods).

You may not disrupt the platform, try to bypass its protections, or use it to send unsolicited messages.

Any visitor can report a website using the “Report abuse” link at the bottom of the page. We review reports and may, without notice in urgent cases, suspend or remove clearly unlawful content, informing you as soon as possible.

6. Availability and changes to the service

We use reasonable means to keep your website available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability (maintenance, incidents at our providers, force majeure).

The service evolves: we may add, change or remove features. If a significant change is to the detriment of subscribers, we give at least 30 days’ notice.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damage and cannot exceed the amounts you paid in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect losses (loss of profit, loss of customers, loss of data other than through gross negligence or wilful misconduct).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, in particular towards consumers.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard (“My account”). Your websites are then taken offline and your data deleted, subject to legal retention obligations (notably accounting).

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, after trying to contact you where possible.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise (in particular for consumers), the courts of the district where the publisher has its registered office have jurisdiction.
